Within the mighty fortress keep,
Lies the garden, dead and deep.
No trees, no grass, no roses fair,
Only stones and riddles there.
Through rooms uncounted must you walk,
And wary be what shadows stalk.

The Garden of Riddles awaits....

Every tick a resource wasted,
Every tock a victory tasted,
By another trapped within,
Closing ways where they have been.
Five the doors that you could enter,
And each one leads to the center.

The Garden of Riddles awaits....

With every moment passing, vexed,
The labyrinth grows more complex.
Three questions you're allowed to ask,
A simple but a daunting task.
Ponder quickly, or concede,
This riddle's task is to impede.

Tarry not, tarry not."

"Do you know how long most of them stood here and looked around and fretted about things before asking that very important question?" comes a girlish voice from behind them.
Behind them, sitting on a rather short stone pillar, is a beautiful young girl. She is very pale, with long black hair and strikingly blue eyes.
The girl smiles and taps the pillar with her foot, indicating an engraved stone plaque.
I have separated the weaklings out of that large group, it says, Congratulations on making it here, though I regret to say that you are not the first. Make your way through the main gate, and choose wisely where you go. Seek the keystone in the Garden of Riddles - only when it has been retrieved and set into its place on this pillar will the contest end. Only the end of the contest or your own death will let you leave before then. You have three questions to ask of my servant... do not waste them.
"And limited time to ask, as the others draw closer to what you seek," giggles the girl, "Tick tock...."
She points, and those who look see a massive tower that rises from the fortress - on the side that faces inside is a huge, ornate clock, booming away the seconds like a giant heartbeat.
And the girl begins to sing...

I'll post as my players go through the maze. They've finally gotten past this bit.

Hmmm...something that could be right of the movie. If they were make a sequel, this would be a nice touch. Nice.
